Congo Perspective: The Good and the Bad

The Democratic Republic of Congo is not all about negative stories, we do also have many good things happening in the lives of ordinary folks.I thought it would be a good idea to future the good and the bad of yesterday-I'll try to mix it up so that  the good dominates the bad.

African Comics

Many African children love reading Comics-and most comics tend to have Heroes and Heroines that inspire in one way-or another. However, the comics and stories are never written for the African audience, which I don't blame because its not Africans that write them.

Democratic Republic Of Congo Not Blinking

I sometimes wonder why Joseph Kabila is wasting our time meeting with the Uganda and Rwanda criminals??
Its indeed bizarre for a man to befriend and negotiate with someone that is known to have killed his father and people.

Think of it, how many medals have black people won while seated down? Of-course non!  The only medals we've won is when running-away. I know you might be thinking that I'm playing White VS Black, but very wrong, because in Cuba with its minimal resources, they've performed well at the Olympics.

Photo of the day: Congo is not Dead

Many of  anti-Congolese wish to see Congo dead and buried for good so they can come-in unabated, and make a taking.
Never, Congolese will always be here, smile at you and even forgive but not forget. We're the most resilient people on this planet.

Angola equipe no Jogos Olímpicos de Londres

The Angolan contingent was mostly made of females and was well represented at the London games.

The Democratic Republic of Congo at the London Olympics Games

In-spite of poor performance at the London Olympics, the Congolese team made us all proud by flying the flag, My observation was the lack of  self-confidence in themselves-which seemed a general problem among most African participants.
