Its always healthy to look beyond the negatives and look for the positives in Congo DRC. That's why we have the Congolese magazine edition to motivate and teach us more about Congolese. However it will take more than 10 issues to understand Congolese.

Congolese Model of the Day

Its always good to feature upcoming talent on this blog, especially when she's Congolese. That's why every week we shall bring you the Bikini girl of the week. This being a new magazine, you'll have to forgive us for not thinking like you-having morals found in a box. We shall try our best to improve and also be balanced as we believe in fair play.

Imperialism Part 1; How Mainstream Media Puts Africans down

Today, Africa is in a very big crisis that has been imposed and created by imperialistic forces, mainly USA,EU,China, and the Arab Gulf States. There's no single African state that is not under occupation by foreign forces and there's no progressive country that is under indirect rule of Western countries and their puppets.
The typical pattern of occupation has five pillars; Media,Ngos, dictators(partner),AFRICOM, and UN.

This will be a discussion that will be in several parts and over a long period-many of the issues are already known by most people but have not had the nerve to discuss them, nor question what the Fuck is going on??

Congo DRC Magazine, 2nd Edition

In this second issue I mixed old and new to create a blend of the other Congo. However, the magazine is bound to change as it develops-thus,everything will be featured, ie. both sexes, culture, society, fashion, etc. As you can tell, I'm always caught between several languages-its on purpose to familiarise the audience with Lingala(DRC main language) and French-and also to encourage Congolese to teach Lingala to the world. Yes, a lingala language tutor is in production.

Congo Art; The The other Design

This week I decide to break the rules of design and experimented with new ways of seeing things-Good designers can't create stuff without risking. I could say that this is good for the project especially when conceptualizing elegance with Kikongo
Maybe for those that are just visiting for the first-time this Blog and haven't followed the previous posts-this is a project that is meant to use digital Art(3D, Animation,Illustration, etc) as a tool for conflict resolution. Thus, the final result will be used to interact with  all stake-holders of the region to find solutions that unites everyone without resorting to violence.

Congo 3D Art

Its not everyday that you come across modern Art from Congo as the internet is filled with only horror stories about Congo. Nothing positive is ever written about this great country-The media and their friends that have reclaimed-should I say hijacked the image of  Democratic Republic of Congo, have turned a fifth of the country and packaged it as the entire nation-they've found a market to scramble for and made a killing with the biggest hammer of Public relation disaster.

Congolese Beauty Magazine: 2nd Edition

In general, Congolese love a good time and have big hearts-the notion that Congolese love wars is misconceived, because those wars are mostly imposed on Congo by foreign countries such as Rwanda and Uganda. This being the early edition,I promise to improve on every upcoming edition.

Congolese Art;Manga

In my previous post of creating-designing a Congolese Comic, I've experimented with different blend of character design and ended up with a Manga. Though the purpose was to create characters for a comic strip, I think I might as well get more adventurous and come up with an animation comic and manga genre. I know manga might sound Japanese, but Manga is [for] cartoon in Japanese language.
This monster represents the evil of Paul Kagame's genocidal militia in Congo

A well designed character will be very interesting to animate and also create some realism to the viewer. Can you imagine if one of these characters was doing Malewa or Lopelle, it would be amazing. I'm also going to use English to reach a wider audience as Lingala and french won't server the purpose of the project-that of marketing Congolese art and Congo.
